Imagine you'd have no Internet...

This dystopia seems not so far from reality. The music industry wants a prohibition of access to the Internet for people who are violating the copyright by downloading or interchanging music.

Allerdings gilt freier Zugang zu Informationen als ein Grundrecht. Diesen zu sperren, könnte rechtlich nicht ganz so einfach sein, wie es die Betreiber hoffen. Nach der Logik müsste dann auch Ladendieben verboten werden, künftig noch einzukaufen - nicht nur in einem Supermarkt, sondern in allen. (Die Zeit - in german)
